Today Faith Baptist Church is led by Pastor Bill Stedman who has served here for over 50 years. His assistant, Jacob Dohner, runs the youth department working with teenagers. We are always out in the community seeking to help those around us as we continue to grow in the Lord and

Faith Baptist Church of Posen was organized in 1958 by a small group of faithful believers unhappy with their current Church situation. Services began in a garage lent to the Church by The Rogers family and they soon called a pastor, Rev. Fred Bartz.

Faith Baptist Church and was soon able to purchase a small “Cape Cod” Style house on the corner of 149th & Kedzie Avenue. Several additions were added to the building and it is still used by the Church for Sunday School and office space.

Some wonderful men of God pastored here over its
60+ year history. They include:
Rev. Fred Bartz – Deceased
Rev. Al Anger – Missionary
Rev. F.D. Sanders – Retired
Dr. Tom Schulte – Evangelist
Dr. Jim Delashmit – Deceased
Dr. Bill Stedman – Current Pastor

In 1975 a new building was constructed on the site, and now serves as our auditorium. Land was later purchased across the street to the south which gives us plenty of parking space.
